Meeker County Sheriff's Office Teen Academies

These academies are intended to provide youth an inside look at the operations and services of the Meeker County Sheriff's department.
Academies will be held at the Meeker County Sheriff's Office. June 19-21 and July 17-19.

This program is free and registration is open to students age 13-18 who attend ACGC.

Youth Energy Summit (YES!) Team Recruiting New Members

We are recruiting new members in grades 8-12 for this academic school activity which "empowers youth to partner with their community to create economic and environmental vitality through hands-on learning and team-based projects." (www.youthenergysummit.org) Current projects include the tree trench project at the ACGC Elementary School in Atwater, LED to Solar Parking Lot Lights, School Garden, and ongoing recycling efforts.
