The ACGC School Board is conducting a search for a new superintendent. The School Board contracted with the Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA) to provide guidance and assist us with the search. The application deadline is February 7, 2017.
The School Board has established the following timeline for conducting its search for a new superintendent.

  • The deadline for receiving applications is February 7, 2017
  • The screening meeting will be held on February 13, 2017
  • The first round of interviews will begin February 16, 2017
  • The first round of interviews will begin February 17, 2017
  • The second round of interviews will be held February 23, 2017
  • The new superintendent’s contract will be approved on March 16, 2017

All board meetings related to the superintendent search, including the first and second rounds of interviews, are open to the public to listen to the proceedings.

Girls basketball section game is on February 25 at Minnewaska. Game time is 7:00 PM

The School Board has Voted to Select Nels Onstad as the New Superintendent.

The ACGC School Board has voted to select Nels Onstad, Director Of Educator Licensing, Minnesota Department of Education, as the district’s new superintendent.

“We believe Nels has the qualifications and skills to move the school district forward. We look forward to working with Nels in his new capacity,” said Michael Hendrickson, Board Chair.

Sports Announcement for 2/22/17

The boys basketball team will host Minnewaska for the first round of sub-sections.  The game is on March 4th with a 7 pm start.  Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
