Today we came together by wearing yellow to honor the family of a bright young soul gone far too soon. We wear yellow to shine light🔆, offer love💛, and surround🫂 the Adrian family with support.

We stand together to honor their loved one’s memory and to remind those who are grieving that they are not alone. Our hearts are with the family, friends, and the entire BBE community during this difficult time.

💡 What’s included in the November referendum plan?

If approved, the $15.95 million building bond would:

🏀 Build a new multipurpose gymnasium with a walking track for school and community use
💪 Add a dedicated health & fitness area (doubling as a storm shelter)
🤼 Relocate wrestling into the 5–12 building
🔧 Enhance Career & Technical Education with modern equipment and furnishings
🏫 Address critical maintenance needs—boiler, parking lot, water systems, and building repairs

These updates would create safer, more flexible spaces that support students today while preparing them for the future.

Exploring the Universe Through Art and Words! ✨🌌

Students in Mr. Rosengren’s 6th grade science class have been reaching for the stars—literally! 🚀 Using their knowledge of celestial bodies, they created stunning SPACE ART paired with original acrostic poems.

This project beautifully integrates science, language arts, and visual art, helping students better understand and retain what they’ve learned. Along the way, they also strengthened their research skills—a true cross-curricular adventure!

These Falcons are proving that learning can be both creative and scientific, and we are so proud of the passion and curiosity they bring to the classroom every day.

Even with strong maintenance efforts, some facility improvements extend beyond our annual budget. If approved, the November bond referendum would fund essential improvements, including:

🏫 5–12 building: Replace an aging boiler, resurface parking lots, and upgrade water filtration
🏫 PreK–4 building: Repair moisture-prone bricks, improve emergency exits, enhance exterior lighting, upgrade filtration

These investments will help ensure safe, accessible, and sustainable schools for years to come. In addition, the proposed bond would build a new two-station multipurpose addition, improve our CTE space, and relocate and renovate our wrestling space at our 5-12 building.
