September is Minnesota School Board Recognition Month

Thank you, ACGC School Board, for serving our district and the communities of Atwater, Cosmos, and Grove City!

Board members are our neighbors, parents, and friends who give up evenings, weekends, and family time to serve our students. They spend countless hours setting direction for our district, making thoughtful decisions about budgets and policies, and listening to families, staff, and students, all with one goal in mind: helping every student succeed. Their work shows, and their decisions make a real difference in our classrooms every day.

This year's statewide theme, "Minnesota School Boards Help Minnesota Kids Rise," celebrates the vital role school boards play in helping students reach their full potential, and we see that every day at ACGC.

Please join us in thanking (from left to right) David Blom, Megan Morrison, Christine Buer, Jeanna Lilleberg, Traci Smith, Ryan Buer, and Scott Stafford for their dedication to our students and communities. A special thank you goes to board members who have done an outstanding job but will end their tenure at the end of 2026: Megan Morrison, Traci Smith, and Christine Buer. Your legacy will continue for years!

🏈 VARSITY FOOTBALL ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the predicted weather conditions for Friday, our varsity football game against BOLD has been moved to tomorrow, Thursday, 9/17, at 5:30 PM.

We realize this is short notice, but this change will allow for safer playing conditions and give families the opportunity to attend both varsity football and volleyball and support our Falcons!

🏈 JH Football: JH Football will now scrimmage Maple Lake on the football practice field at 4:00 PM.

Come out and support our athletes during this homecoming week!

Tonight, our Falcons Volleyball team takes on the NL-S Wildcats! Come out, show your school spirit, and cheer on your Falcons!

JH Football will scrimmage Litchfield on our east football practice field, beginning at 4:30 PM. Seating will be limited, so feel free to bring a lawn chair if you’d like to sit and watch.

Tomorrow is Day One of HOMECOMING Week at ACGC, and we’re kicking things off with some Varsity Football! 🦅

Due to weather last Friday, our football game against St. Cloud Cathedral was suspended. The game will resume tomorrow, Monday, September 14 at 6:30 PM at St. John’s University.

📣 Tuesday, September 15 Updates:

The JV Football game vs. St. Cloud Cathedral will be played on Falcon Field.
The scheduled JH Football game vs. Litchfield will be a scrimmage on the football practice field.
