FUNdamentals in Science students learned to tie-dye t-shirts. The swirling patterns of tie-dye t-shirts demonstrate scientific concepts like diffusion, absorption, and chemical reactions as dyes spread through fabric fibers and bond with the material.




Who was an ACGC teacher who made an impact on you and how?
“Mrs. Heimermann is the teacher that impacted me the most because she made learning fun and taught me important life lessons.”
What is your favorite memory from high school?
“Playing baseball with my best friends.”
What advice would you give to younger Falcons?
“Go have fun because the memories that you make are what matter the most.”
What are your plans for after graduation?
“I plan to attend Minnesota State University, Mankato for Business Management.”

ACGC Community Education is excited to offer Co-Ed T-Ball for children ages 4–7!
T-ball is a fun, entry-level introduction to baseball and softball designed to help young players build confidence, stay active, and learn the basics of the game. Instead of pitched balls, players hit from a stationary tee—making it easier to develop coordination and skills in a supportive environment.

Who was an ACGC teacher who made an impact on you and how?
“The teacher that made the biggest impact on me is Mrs. Johnson. She got me to come out of my shell in large groups of people, and when I'm being put on the spot.”
What is your favorite memory from high school?
“Sitting in the library with Kendell.”
What advice would you give to younger Falcons?
“Be yourself, and find friends that support you.”
What are your plans for after graduation?
“I plan to go to college at Concordia Morehead.”

She says that Ms. Korpi is a teacher who has made an impact on her and that her favorite memories included some competition.
“My favorite memory was my senior volleyball season, playing with my best friends and beating our rival schools!”
Her advice is that “Growth comes from persistence, not perfection.”
She plans to attend the College of Saint Benedict to study accounting.

Two Free Summer Camps for 5th, 6th or 7th Graders
GAMMA (Math Camp): An interactive, hands-on, discovery-based math camp the week of July 20-24 (one week) from 8:45am to 1:45pm hosted at the Willmar High School with a field trip to the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center on Friday, July 24th. Click for more details: GAMMA
Robotics/STEM Camp: July 27th - August 7th (two weeks Monday through Friday) from 8:45am to 12:45pm at the Willmar High School. One week of robotics and one week of Science and Engineering class. Click for more details: Robotics/STEM
Both Programs are FREE through funding through West Central Achievement and Integration Collaborative

“Many teachers have made an impact on me, but this year it has been Hagstrom. I have grown up with him, and I am his TA. He has taught me how to work hard, even if he hears me complain about it. I know how to do quality work within a short time and be flexible because of what he taught me.”
What is your favorite memory from high school?
“My favorite memory from high school was the East Coast trip. I got to see so many new things I never thought I would see, and I had a ton of fun with my friends!”
What advice would you give to younger Falcons?
“It's not going to be easy. Sometimes, you'll want to quit. Keep your head forward and do your best.”
What are your plans for after graduation?
"I plan to attend Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, to study Music Education.”

“Bradley Ralph Nelson II, he's a great teacher and coach, always showing up to school and making everyone smile. During softball as my coach he would always uplift us girls in the best ways cause I believe he knows we can do great things!”
What is your favorite memory from high school?
“Just all of the times I've genuinely laughed so hard I was in absolute tears!”
What advice would you give to younger Falcons?
“Please don't take high school for granted, it goes by so fast you won't even realize it. ”
What are your plans for after graduation?
“I'm going to attend Alexandria Technical & Community College in the Police Training Program to be a police officer.”
